A beautiful sign to a beautiful city, yeah right.

Outside the Network Associates Coliseum prior to game 1 in Oakland, CA.  After the game it was a different scene here as we pelted by beer bottles!

Great match up; I think Pedro out pitched Martinez but the Sox lost in game 1.  The Sox also lost in game 2 but hey, they came back & won the series!

 

My Dad & I right before game 1.  My Dad's frequent flyer miles made this trip possible!

I look pissed here.  Flying 8 hours to Oakland and losing 2 games will do that to you, but I'll do it all over again.  It was pure excitement watching the Sox play in Oakland and a chance of a lifetime!
